My work exposes me to me. Total abandonment, unashamed and unafraid; these are the emotions I experience when I work with the clay. In my work I see my soul, my hidden fears and my anger. Innocent, beautiful, and tender we arrive in this world. My pieces are burned and have crusts. None of these outcomes are intentional and yet my inner soul is revealed, this is what I mean by revealing myself to me. The soul cannot hide when the spirit creates.
