The author is originally from Swansea in Wales and has resided in Madison, Wisconsin for 9 years. Through his love of golf, he met fellow golfers whose dream was to play golf in the United Kingdom for a reasonable price. This led to trips (10 to 16 days in length) across the pond to the UK in 2004, Ireland in 2006 and the UK again in 2008. The author is currently working on a trip in 2010 for the Ryder cup.
