I can still remember the first time I was told I was a good writer... I was six years old, and at the end of the school year my teacher said goodbye to me, and asked me to keep sending her my stories as they were the best she'd ever read! Then, two years later, I actually made a teacher cry with a poem I wrote about my best friend (I really wish I still had that poem).

Both of these incidents stayed with me as I got older. I have never underestimated the power of words, and have been a poet ever since, writing down whatever random thoughts enter my mind and transforming them into something more beautiful, meaningful. Words are my art and my passion, and through them I hope to touch the lives and the hearts of anyone who comes across them.

I hope to write a novel one day, but I suspect my talent lies in capturing tiny, insignificantly beautiful moments, rather than an entire tale. We shall see what the future brings!
