Patrizia Mengozzi Malik was born in Kenya (East Africa) of Italian parents. Her artistic talents were evident from her childhood days growing up on a coffee farm in Kenya. The numerous family camping safaris out on the spectacular African savannah have given her the privilege of being able to closely study the behaviour of African wildlife.
As a consequence, Patrizia paints primarily African Wildlife and landscapes in oils on canvas. She is also proficient in the classical art of French Limoge and Sevres designs on porcelain.
She has held both watercolour (2001) and porcelain art (2006) exhibitions in Nairobi. Her porcelain pieces have been published in the British Porcelain Artist. In 2007, she was invited by the Kenya Television Network (KTN) to broadcast a demonstration on the techniques required for painting on porcelain.
Although travelling the globe is very much part of her life now, Patrizia currently works from both her studios in Dubai (U.A.E.) and Nairobi (Kenya).
