It was my father’s joy in documenting family events that first inspired my passion for photography. My work is documentary fine art and spans genres including, but not limited to, street photography, travel, landscape, and portraiture.

Professionally, I have worked as a darkroom technician for the Library of Congress printing original negatives of Mathew Brady and Farm Security Administration photographers, as well as other historical materials. I started my career in the same capacity at The Washington Post, before becoming a photo editor for the paper's digital operation.

I still enjoy creating new work, though my primary focus is on digitizing and publishing my lifetime collection of negatives and slides.
