I'm a Chicago based abstract painter with a concentration in large-scale paintings, mixed media works on paper, and commissioned artworks. My work/live space is in Chicago's Pilsen neighborhood and I share the studio with my German Shepherd Dog and 2 cats - all rescue animals. I received my BFA in painting from the University of Illinois at Urbana / Champaign and have received several grants and awards including an Illinois Arts Council Fellowship and a CAAP Individual Artist Grant from the City of Chicago, Department of Cultural Affairs. I was recently featured in a Chicago Tribune article from July 27, 2014 by Rick Kogan “Painting put artist’s life back on track” and in an artist interview with Saatchi Online. I'm represented by Moberg Gallery in Des Moines, Iowa and have works in numerous private and corporate collections.
