|Mi biografía||Aaron Summer Lopez was born in August 1982 and grew up in the small coal mining town of Rich Hill, Missouri where she completed both elementary and secondary school education. Summer, a proud Rich Hill Tiger, began her love of writing and etymology in second grade and in 1995 her lyrical journey was sparked by Robert Frost's poem, "The Road Not Taken" within her sixth grade class. Many years later, after the death of her closely loved brother Adam Seth, whom she deeply admired, Summer began writing about her struggles with grief and loss and initiated a fostering of poetic works which strengthened the bonds of her then questioned faith. In 2011, Summer became the organizer for the Kansas City Poetry group where she met fellow poet, Morteza Javadi, who later assisted with the group’s activities. The following year, Summer was published in an international online anthology of poetry called “Via Grapevine” edited by Bridgitte Poirson|
