When I retired from teaching, I enrolled in a writing class. We were told to think back as far as we could remember and begin writing. After I began, thoughts flowed abundantly. This collection of stories is being shared with the reader in the hope that others might be inspired to enjoy their own experience by writing theirs.

I often wish that I could read accountings of my grandparents, great, and great-great grand parents as well as other ancestors. Now, my descendants can have the opportunity of learning what I, and my era, was about.

As a person of Gifted Longevity, our Creator has blessed me with good and not so good life experiences, the Spice of Life, that has determined what I am and who I am in a positive sense. Some-times, asking a person how old they are conjures up a demeaning concept of number. The term of being “old” is viewed as negative; when in fact, living long, Gifted Longevity, is a positive divine gift.
