I find that photography extends what I know and how I see, pushing the boundaries of who I am and where I stand in relation to everything else. These past few years have been an exercise in holding close the simple things—that first cup of coffee in the early hours of the day, the warmth of summer bursting through the petals of a sunflower, the geometrical patterns perfectly reflected in the center of a daisy, the rich shades of Autumn emerging in morning light. These landscapes of beauty reveal themselves as we pause to study our daily surroundings from different angles and in changing light.
