Born in Osaka, 1972, Masato Onoda studied Japanese literature at Waseda University, Tokyo. His interest in other creative medium led him to work in music industry in Kyoto for five years. Then, Mr. Onoda decided on photography as his professional career. To pursue his goal, he chose to move to the United States. Two months after finishing photography program at Northwest college, Powell, Wyoming, he had his first job at New York fashion week. From that moment, his career has been full of traveling and shooting. He has photographed for Calvin Klein, Michael Kors, J.Mendel, Derek Lam, Tommy Hilfiger, Harper's Bazaar, BRIDES, etc.
Mr. Onoda enjoys a cup of tea and running in his neigborhood, Green Point, Brooklyn.
