Hometown is Chicago Illinois now living in St.Augustine Florida. I got my first camera when I was eight years old but I became serious about photography when I was twenty. Worked for Cook County,IL from age twenty to twenty-seven in it's photography department. There I had the good fortune to be taken under the wing of some great photographers. I learned the craft. During that time I went to Columbia College Chicago in the evenings and became aware of photography as art. There were great people there. Along the way I had a career in graphic arts and printing. I am now sixty years old and I have been hooked on taking pictures since 1970 and that is forty years. |
