Robin Reva, born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, began her art career at an early age----the sixth grade. Furthermore, she can pinpoint it to the day a new family car arrived. With the car came a subscription to the Ford Times Magazine. “It was filled front to back with a variety of reproductions from artists. I could not wait to get my hands on it each month to see what artists were doing. I would sit on my bedroom floor and recreate some of the styles and concepts by using a cheap set of watercolors in a metal tray. I decided that the watercolor illustrations were full of emotion and that was what I wanted to learn.” Robin's work can be seen in collections throughout the U.S. and in many corporate hallways in Michigan. People remember her most notably for the unique depictions painted for the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel restoration through Dorothy Draper Interiors, New York. She completed 63 originals spanning from the corporate hallways to the penthouse suites. She resides in South Haven, Mi.
