A social worker by profession, Ms. Bourgeois was born in England, grew up in Ferguson, MO, and lived in New Orleans for almost 30 years. Although she is home in Cadrieu, FRANCE; she now splits her time between New Orleans, Ferguson and Cadrieu. She found her heart in Paris in 1992, her soul in the Lot Valley in 1998, and then bought Chatette Cadrieu during 2002. Her friends, family and colleagues loved her photos and encouraged her to enlarge them and to write about her experiences. It is a great joy for her to see her work in the homes and offices of her friends and family and know a passion is shared. Ms. Bourgeois integrates photography and collage into her daily life through her journaling and always travels light. It makes no difference if she is wandering the streets of Paris or New Orleans, or if she is welcoming a new fresh day along the Lot; you will always find her in her overalls with her camera in her pocket!
