Kelly Leahy-Radding specializes in painting botanicals and natural history, developing her style with field observations on location, then translating her natural experiences to paintings in the studio. She paints with watercolors, gouache, and egg tempera, concentrating on dry brush watercolor on calfskin vellum. Kelly is a member of The American Society of Botanical Artists, the Guild of Natural Science Illustrators, the Brooklyn Botanic Garden Florilegium Society, the National Tropical Botanical Garden Florilegium Society, the New England Society of Botanical Artists and the Society of Animal Artists. Kelly is an award winning artist who has exhibited her work in local solo, regional group, national and international juried shows.
