I succumbed to social pressure in October 2011 and finally got an iPhone 4S for personal use. I discovered my new handheld Google-device took great pictures that captured moments as I saw them and how I saw them. I was hooked. I'd had a small digital camera prior to the iPhone, but it wasn't always with me and I wasn't often inspired to use it.
Shortly after learning I liked taking pictures, I entered a small photo of the day contest on a whim and to my surprise, won. I now carry my soul-stealer with me everywhere and one day I will embrace the next level and get an SLR. Until then, my "strictly iPhone" photography keeps me looking at my beautiful world with fresh, appreciative eyes.
