I have had many careers in my life. From working in a store room of a shop to the last 20+ years working as an IT professional running a helpdesk in a large international insurance company. But I have always had a strong passion for photography I would dip my toes in and out of the medium but only as a hobby as daily life took over and bills had to be paid. In the last few years this hobby took a very strong hold on me and would not go away, so after being offered redundancy from my company I decided to take the plunge re-educate myself and make photography a career rather than something that just kept me sane on a day to day basis.

People have often asked me why I like photography and why I'm trying to carve a living/career out of this art form especially in today's world where everyone has a camera, maybe I'm still trying to figure that one out for myself . I am always at my happiest when I am walking around with a camera in my hand trying to capture a moment in time.
