I have photographed wildlife and wilderness landscapes in the valleys of Yellowstone, the canyons of Utah, the marshlands of Florida, and the deep woods of Maine, Pennsylvania, and Quebec. I live in the backwoods of New York State's Southern Tier, far from the concrete canyons of Manhattan, where I also focus on the Finger Lakes Region and the Adirondack North Country. I have photographed and written about North American wild animals and birds for almost 40 years. I'm a member of the New York State Outdoor Writers Association and I've won awards for my magazine articles and images. If I can spend a day in the woods and bring back one excellent photo--it can be a chipmunk or a moose--then I've had a good day! |
