I have been working in international development for the last 20 years. My first experiences of development work were in Eastern Europe in the 1990's. After 2000, I started to progress gradually further eastwards, spending time in Azerbaijan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh.
As well as the enormous professional satisfaction of working in development, this has turned out to be a great way to combine making a living with the things that I enjoy doing most: travelling, seeing new places and meeting new people. And hopefully now and again helping to change things for the better along the way.
Photography has slowly become my favourite pastime, allowing me to capture and share something of my experiences.
