ILMA BARAYUGA-DOHERTY is an artist par excellence in the realms of visual, literary, theatre, musical and terrarium arts. She has taught Speech, Drama, Painting and Photography to over 5,000 students during her 15 years in the academe. Ilma is acclaimed as a global multi-media artist by ABS CBN International Television cable channel. Prior to her visual arts career, she was a professional stage actress/manager for the Cultural Center of the Philippines in Shakespearean, European, English, American and Filipino plays. She acted and stage managed over a hundred fifty productions during her theater career.She is a self taught painter and photographer and boasts of 14 solo exhibitions to her credit. Her prolificacy in the visual arts is astounding. She has sold over 400 hundred artworks and photographs since 1991.
