Christianne Ebel is a freelance photographer from a multicultural, multigenerational household on the East coast of the USA. As Christianne attended the university of life she discovered the art of photography. For the past 13 years she has traveled the world extensively always with a camera in hand. She turned to photojournalism eight years ago, freelancing for various newspapers, such as the New York Times and the Courier News. Her work also brought her to assist National Geographic photographers. For the past two years Christianne has received honorable mentions by the International Photography Awards, and is the American recipient of the American Scandinavian Society’s 2009 Cultural Grant. She worked on a boddy of work entitled 'Sverige: a photographic monologue' which was exhibited at the Rydals Museum, Sweden in October 2009. She is currently exploring the multimedia applications to photography.
