Yiannis Frantzeskos.
This sensitive author, born and bred in Naxos, one of the most beautiful islands of the Aegean,. He has lived for ten years in the distant land of Canada, in the city of Montreal, where, among other things, he studied graphic arts in the Academy of Arts, and photography in the School of Modern Photography.
This book is precisely what he “saw” not only through his lens, but through his soul. In his pictures he manages to steer far from any commonplace, classic concept of beauty. Something emanates from them. He likes to mix and imagine new ways of composition. When he takes a picture, the moment becomes decisive. He trusts what he sees so that he can elevate it to a higher plane. At the moment of exposure he takes everything into consideration, undeniably he is a master of the lens, a “magician” of the camera.
