The reverend father Petros Kipouros is a married cleric,father of three children.He has served as vicar at the Metropolitan Church of St Nikolas in Alexandroupolis since 1993.Becides his duties as a vicar,he spends any free time left on his favorite hobby, photography.
He has participated in photography contests. such as Word Press Photo,and has had four personal shows in his town and in Xanthi. He received the 2nd prize at the National Geographic photography contest in 2006 and the 1st prize by the N.G. Greek edition in 2007; he has published articles and photos in the National Geographic,Greek and Polish edition. He loves spending his holidays travelling and discovering new ways to photograph in other countries and cultures.He has visited 35 countries .He likes all photographic themes.From military exercises and Formula 1 to the wildlife on the Evros Delta.He is a founding member of Photography Centre of Thrace (kedifot.gr)
