I have been photographing the scenery of the Scottish West Highlands since first coming here on holiday as a child. I've been lucky enough to live here since 1979 and am still enjoying finding new vistas and photographing the landscapes and seascapes from fresh angles.

My career in diagnostic haematology took me to the English Lake District then northwards to Benderloch in the Scottish West Highlands, where I've been able to combine my love of mountains, hill walking and sailing with my photography.

My photos have appeared in a number of publications, local history exhibitions and illustrate websites relating to Scottish tourism. These include my local village website and a Scottish Government site promoting outdoor pursuits. Prints sell online and my postcards are popular with visitors to Benderloch.

I'm a past president of Oban Camera Club and in 2010 was featured in the documentary 'Ben', a film about people whose lives interact with Britain's highest mountain, Ben Nevis.
