Born near the end of Secound World War, grew up in the 40's and 50's. The book is about growing up as a working class youngster and the tribulations of a youth who had been diagnosed as having word blindness. Becomming an indentured engineering apprentice were after worked in West Africa for 6years, I took my new bride out to a worn torn country. The book covers one score years and ten. On our return home with 2 chidren we were to become pennyless and homeless in the three day working week.
