Coming back into education after nearly 35 years could have been quite daunting, but it has turned out to be one of the best decisions that I have made. My interest in photography stretches back nearly four decades, and I am now able to combine it with my other passion, Scuba Diving, which I have been teaching for the last couple of years. As a consequence, the vast majority of my photographs tend to be in, on or centered around water.

As well as taking pictures in and around the waters of the UK, I have been lucky enough to travel to exotic locations around the world and record the rich diversity of flora and fauna under the sea. However, I have recently been inspired closer to home, taking photographs of people in the water, and the creative opportunities that this gives me is very satisfying, and I hope to explore the commercial possibilities of this in the near future.

I am inspired by colour, light and natural beauty, and I hope that my photographs convey this.
