Mi biografía Carol J. Phipps, Ph.D., creatively combines a wealth of education and experience in Communications. Her work history blends the arts, teaching, clinical pastoral care, public speaking, storytelling, acting, writing, and organizational and administrative skills. Phipps has worked as a Hospital Chaplain in KY, WVA, and IN. She has 25-plus years experience in local church ministries, and community programming. Phipps has presented programs in "Art as Ministry in Times of Transition," and “Art, Healing, & Spirituality.” She has convened with other spiritual leaders for studies in Narrative Theology, Biblical Storytelling, and the Healing Power of Stories.

Dr. Phipps has served as a Humor Consultant for local Hospital Oncology and Pediatric units; and assisted the development of a hospital humor therapy room.
