I have taught children aged 5 - 18 in many different settings and countries including England, Singapore, Egypt, Kenya and Australia. Whatever the nationality of the children, a good story can still absorb and capture their imagination despite the compelling attractions of film, TV and other media.

My first effort at self-publication is in fact, written by my father-in-law, John Milne who passed away in 2007. He was a great story-teller and 'Micky the Mackerel' is published in honour of him.
