Acerca de

Caterina was born in Florence (Italy) in 1981, and studied at the University of Bologna. She graduated with a thesis on the work of american photographer Francesca Woodman. During her studies she also exposed her photographic works in some solo and group exhibitions.
After an experience in the digital department at Magnum Photos
Agency in Paris, she currently works as photographer and photographer assistant. Caterina is mainly interested in intimacy, memory and identity, and her photographic works focuse on these themes. She has published her work on “Animals” (Coniglio Editore, Italy) and “Grazia” (Mondadori, Italy). Her project "Palacinche", in collaboration with the comic artist Alessandro Tota, will become a book, to be published in 2011 by Fandango Libri (Italy).
Since September 2006, Caterina lives and works in Paris.
