Acerca de

Carol Reyes was born in Guatemala City in 1986; she was raised in Guatemala and moved to the U.S. when she was 18. In 2004, she began studying journalism, French, Latin American Studies and Portuguese at the University of Florida. Carol plans to attend law school after finishing her undergraduate degree. Carol enjoys writing, photography, dancing and traveling.

In 2008, Carol went skydiving in Palatka, Florida, bungee jumped in Glasgow, Scotland, spent Easter Week in Rome,
completed two 5-kilometer runs for charity and drove from
Arizona to Florida with her brother, Gabriel.

The photographs in this book were taken on a trip to Barcelona during Carol's 2008 spring semester abroad in Dublin, Ireland.
