I am an event photographer in Victoria MN. My name is Andy Nyhus. I am mostly of Norwegian ancestry with bits of Swedish and German. I am born and raised in Minnesota with small stints in North Dakota and upstate New York.

I love being a photographer. I have been taking pictures for over 30 years. My first photography memory was when I borrowed my dad’s camera to capture our family and pets on film. The passion for photography really took off when I got a camera as a confirmation gift from my parents. It was then that I realized I had a knack for it.

I enjoy capturing candid moments and the raw emotion of people that truly portray their life’s events. I am drawn to interesting faces that portray emotion. I enjoy making a connection with my clients during the photo shoots.
