We are supporters of South Platte Park commemorating the 50 Years of Change since South Platte River overflowed its banks in June 1965. Volunteer Pam Roth O'Mara compiled written and photographic memories by those who witnessed the flood to create the book, Visions of the Flood.

Certified Interpretive Guide (CIG), artist, author, and instructor, Pam Roth O’Mara enjoys being outdoors, learning about what goes on around her - especially in South Platte Park - and sharing her discoveries with others. As a Park Interpreter at South Platte Park, Pam guides visitors of all ages along the many trails and lakes, team-teaches the Art of Nature, teaches in the park's public programs, and enjoys the great outdoors of the 880 acre park.
