Despite two heart attacks and a stroke before the age of 45, Howard B Taylor built a two-story, 800 ton rock building, carved 75 original wood carvings, painted 125 bird paintings, wrote about and painted over 30 Oregon logging paintings, and created seven one-of-a-kind Living Rock Pictures. Because he chose to focus on progress instead of pain, he left a legacy of unique, beautiful, nature-inspired art.
