Bishop Dr. A. L. Helligar is founder of Cry of His Coming Evangelistic Assn. and Bishop of Koinonia Ministries of Central Fl. He has been a Pastor for over 50 years and a community leader, in Pine Hills, for over 20 years. He is married to his sweetheart, Dorothy for 44 years and a proud dad of seven children. He is an advocate for positive transformation and has been involved in projects ranging from community development to crime prevention. He is often called the Pastor of Pastors and the Father of the Fatherless.
From the humble beginnings in St Maarten, Bishop Dr. A.L. Helligar brought his vision to the United States in 1979. It is a simple vision: To be God’s instrument in helping people. Although he has a strong passion for the youth, his efforts are not limited to their demographic as he has served as a counselor on many levels and even as Volunteer Chaplain.
