I've been a photographer since high school (eons ago). I inherited my love of the medium from my father, who in his day used his Mamiya twin-lens reflex to capture Ansel Adams-worthy scenes of my home state of Montana. My first digital camera was a 2MP point-and-shoot from a local store. Since then, I have never looked back to film. My photography has led me to capture images in Montana, Washington, Alaska, Colorado, Utah, Texas, Canada, London, Paris and Ireland. I am a contributing writer and photographer for The National Parks Traveler (www.nationalparkstraveler.org) and write a monthly "Photography in the National Parks" column. I continue to travel and photograph what I see and intend on doing this for as long as I have a camera at hand.
