Roz is secretary of the non-profit cat sanctuary, Purradise Ranch. With the help of her daughter, Priscilla Dean and son-in-law, Felix G. Ray, the three of them have created a very unique environment of co-existing with their family of 75 "furry friends."

In addition to writing several poignant books, Roz has also created lovely, homemade CatNap Quilts, which are lap-sized quilts - just "purrfect" for someone to snuggle under and take a cat nap.
