Writing since the age of 16, Rachel didn't become Poetic Ray until she reached her 20's. She didn't recognize herself as a poet until others affirmed it. Poetic Ray's mission is to write and speak her way into people's hearts and minds with her Mind Drool. Poetic Ray has spoken her word several times on the radio and at various open mic venues. She hopes to gain an audience that not only read her work, but wants to hear it also. Mind Drool is only the beginning for this poetess.
She hopes to release a spoken word album in the near future. Her favorite quote is one of her own, 'I'm inspired by my poetry and how it writes me... Recreates me when I no longer wanna be'.
