Mi biografía My son Oscar's first birthday party coincided with the second last day of his four-week Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH) Elimination Diet trial. A few days later we started on the first of many food trials that would reveal that Oscar was intolerant to Salicylates, Glutamates and most artificial colours, preservatives and additives. Following the RPAH Elimination diet was hard, but not as hard as living with a child who couldn't sleep. We have had to completely change our diet and the way we cook, as well as what we cook. As a result I started developing my own recipes and modifying recipes to suit our circumstances. The overflowing folder of recipes I was collecting prompted me to start publishing and sharing them with others also on the RPAH and Failsafe diets through my blog Cooking for Oscar (www.cookingforoscar.com). As a lover of printed cook books I also started exploring ways of printing my recipes in books for my own personal use and to share.
