A Texas transplant, I was raised in L.A., and I've lived in Chicago and British Columbia. I've co-founded a Christian elementary school in California, taught all grades Pre-K through 5th, and retired as an elementary school counselor. I love my husband of 24 years, my 3 stepchildren, 5 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren -- all gifts from a loving God. Retirement's rewards include writing, reading, gardening, knitting, and genealogy -- with some camping thrown in when Texas weather permits. Life gets better with age!
