Ms. Nikk born and raised in Columbus, Ohio has always had a passion for writing. It was when she was 13 years old she found a passion for poetry. And ever since then she has been writing poetry as her way of life. Poetry became her escape from stress and dealing with issues of the heart. She found a way at a young age to let her frustration out through her work. She writes about love, life, and anything of her interest. Her poetry is her life and she loves not only writing it but sharing it with others. She has been inspired by people like Maya Angelou, Langston Hughes, Saul Williams, and even Columbus based poets. Her love for poetry goes as far as writing poetry for black history, friends, and her own life. Ms. Nikk speaks the truth in her poetry and hopes if she hasn't already to touch someone else with her poems. She is very passionate about her work and loves feedback to challenge her to do better.
