Painters are observers. I spend my life learning to see. I hope to use my eyes in an appreciative, discerning and personal way. I am compelled to paint what I am connected to, what I yearn for, what I understand and what I wish to understand. I was born in Chicago. My father was a graphic artist, my mother was a model and social activist. I now live in California. |
