Elaine Broderick was born as the roaring twenties came to an end, and has been fascinated with nature and art since early childhood. Growing up in the NYC area, she experienced careers as a secretary (pre-Mad Men era) and later as a fashion model in Manhattan. Then came marriage, motherhood, university, teaching, and through it all painted, sketched, and kept notes on the natural beauty of this world and beyond.
