Born in St. Louis, MO, but moved to Memphis when I was 18 months old. Moved to Walnut Creek, CA, when I was 12. Consider Memphis and Walnut Creek as my home towns. I met my wife the week before classes started my freshman year at Humboldt State and we were married during Spring break our junior year. I have lived in 10 states and have visited 49, still need to get to South Dakota.

Photography is just one of many interests that I have or have had. Others include: cycling, cooking, brewing beer, and roasting coffee (I think there is a bit of a theme in those last few. I am also a rail fan.

Photography is strictly a hobby. I did my first wedding January 1, 2011. While I would like to get a few paying assignments (mad money for more gear) I want photography to always be fun.
