The adventure begins in a cottage nestled at the bottom of a hidden valley in the Chiltern Hills. Mrs L (head of G.L.U.G.G.), her dog Raffles, Granny and the children investigate another environmental crisis for Mr Cam and the government. They travel to Wales where granny is held hostage. Despite the use of ancient powers the team find themselves in Ghana. Will Foddlebroth's meddlesome magic prevent Mrs L from returning from Ghana to save the boys?

Dear Foddlebroth still sits by the backdoor, quietly these days.
He is very old now. Last week he opened his eyes, and for the first time in years he spoke to me.
