To date I have written 4 books; 3 are Blurb Publications. "Every Turn of the Wheel" was my first effort, being an autobiographical novel based on early years in Post WWII England and South Africa. In documenting sailing adventures I have also published "Beyond Catalina" (Blurb), "Voyage to the Edge" (Pipers' Ash) and 5 magazine articles. "Space-Age Cowboys" (Blurb) is based on reminiscences from early years in the California Space Industry and was undertaken as a retirement project.
Este libro es adictivo. Léalo (bajo su propia responsabilidad).
Beyond Catalina is a must read for anyone planning to venture out to sea on a small boat. It will also be of interest for those who have already crossed oceans. Amongst the fraternity of blue-water sailors experiences will always be different. For the uninitiated, some of the book’s chilling descriptions of ocean storms and wild destructive seas might make their hair stand on end. But take some consolation in the fact that the Author – by his own admission – was less lucky than most.
