Monika Santisi Paulino has been involved with horses for over thirty years in hunt seat and cross-country riding, in addition to adopting rescue horses. After working as a free-lance photographer while living in Hawaii, she decided to combine her passion for horses with her photographic career. The result is the book FROM OUR HORSES ~ A TRIBUTE. Monika currently runs Hawksong Farm Sanctuary in northwest Oregon, providing a permanent home for rescued animals. She lives with her husband, one horse, eight cats, and two dogs.
