Fine Artist and Illustrator and Aspiring Photographer

My work is primarily about people and spaces, the way we interact within a given environment.

My frequent visits to China and Hong Kong were firstly part of various Exchange programmes with the university; including a language and culture summer school programme. Last year I returned to China to teach English. I used all of these as an opportunity to engage and work extensively with my photographic practice to create a series of images that represent my response to these environments.

All together the images are of Mainland China, Hong Kong, Poland and New York City. I have worked democratically photographing somewhere the wonderful and at other times the sublime. I would like to feel that this will give the viewer a deeper appreciation and insight into what they are seeing within the images; the countries and it’s people.
