I've spent most of my life in, on or near the Pacific Ocean, where I draw much of my inspiration. I was born and raised in Long Beach California. I grew up surfing, skateboarding, motorcycle riding and taking photos. I dreamed of being a photographer since I can remember and had my first photo published in 1992-Transworld Snowboarding, shot the cover of Snowboard Canada in 1998 and have had several images and stories published in various magazines and news prints since. I love surfing and photography, both of which allow me to express myself in ways in which words can not. They've also led me to travel to destinations such as Tahiti, Fiji, Australia, Tortola-BVI, Puerto Rico, Costa Rica and Mexico to name a few. I am inspired by art, nature, the ocean and creative people and that is why I know reside in the small, rugged coastal surf town of Tofino, B.C. Canada.
