Crystal Hayse Edwards was born on Long Island, New York, in 1980. At the age of 9, and after a brief stay overseas, her family moved to New Mexico. Also lovingly known as “The Land of Enchantment”, this is where she has since made her home. As a wife, a mother of two young children, and a small business owner, she finds her lifestyle a very busy one. In the moments between the organized chaos, she does her best to use any spare time to work on the artistic things that she enjoys. Painting, singing, dancing, creating music, crafting jewelry, and writing are all things that she is very passionate about, and she considers herself somewhat of an amateur art enthusiast. Since childhood she had always taken an interest in most all of the various arts, and that interest has only grown stronger with time. She writes, paints, sings, and dances her personal interpretations of what she sees and feels. Her greatest inspiration is experience.

This chapbook is her first publication.
