Toni Añó i Pons is a historian and and antropologist for Universitat de Barcelona. He’s been developing an intense career around history, traditional culture and art in the pyrenaic world for more than twenty years. He’s an experienced conoisseur of catalan and andorran’s Pyrenees.

His work as a writer, photographer and audiovisual productions maker has been published by prestigious editors and institutions all around the Spanish State, and translated to several languages. As an author, he’s signed 8 books, more than 250 articles and 9 audiovisual productions. He’s also published more than 3000 pictures in books, magazines, audiovisual productions and newspapers’ weekend suplements.

In 2010, his personal view about catalan Pyrenees has been for the first time exposed in the photo exihibition "Fragments. Imatges de les Valls d'Àneu".
