You Are the Hero® is a charitable organization presented by CultureWorks Greater Philadelphia. We create custom superhero portraits for children who have been diagnosed with chronic or severe illnesses, such as cancer. Our goal is to uplift and the spirits and inspire these children, and remind them that their illness is not their identity. The illustrations we create are completely free of charge and are provided to the kids and their families at no cost to them.
